6th July - Today's News: Germany Records Hottest Ever Day


I was away in the Borders at the weekend, so missed all the fun (as usual ....) as the heatwave breaks into spectacular lightning show across boiling Britain.   More pictures on the BBC, including on very close call for Bren, as lightning hits UK: in pictures.  We just had a few rumbles of thunder.
